Rich with Razzleberry!

My favourite new colour to play with is one of our NEW 'In Colours' in the Autumn Winter Mini Rich Razzleberry, and it's here to stay!

Here's a few projects I've made since Rich Razzleberry came to join me at my house...

Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Orchard Opulence
Card: Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Kraft, Whisper White
Accessories: Whipser White Taffeta Ribbon, Crystal Brad (Purple) from the Ice collection
Tools: Paper Snips, Piercer (for brad), Adhesives including Dimensionals

Below is a cute little bag that I had previously shown here in Good Morning Sunshine DS, this time I've made it with the new DS Papers Cottage Wall and my New Favourite Colour
'Rich Razzleberry'.

Stamps: Vintage Vogue
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Old Olive
Card: Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Old Olive, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DS
Accessories: Build-a-Brad, 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Jumbo Brads,
Silver Brad, Small Clear Bag
Tools: Paper Trimmer with Scoring Blade, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Crop-a-Dile, Paper Snips, 1/2" Circle Punch, Piercer (for brad), Adhesives including Dimensionals.

I've case this next idea from another demonstrator (I'm sorry I can't remember who it was) who made these and will be having them as her swaps at our Convention coming up in May.
They are cute little bags made from the 'Top Note' Big Shot Die. I'm planning on using it to put little pages in and make a mini album (brag book) for Grandma for Mother's Day.

Card: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Cottage Wall DS
Accessories: Silver Brads
Tools: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Trio Flower Punch, Two-Step Bird Punch, Piercer (for brads), Paper Snips, Adhesives including Dimensionals.

Colour Renovation!

Stampin' Up!s latest BIG news is that at the end of August, there will be a Colour Revamp!
I can share that with you now so we can all start planning ahead for Stampin' Up!s new colour collections hitting our craft rooms on the 1st Sept 10, and stock up on those favourite colours we will be saying a fond farewell to.

Colour is fundamental to Stampin' Up! and it is important to keep up to date with trends. After extensive research for the past 2 years investigating colour trends in fashion, home decor, crafting industries, and asking demonstrators and customers through surveys etc, Stampin' Up! have put together a fresh and fashionable new colour pallet for us to work with...
and it is a very exciting and welcomed change!

Below are the new colour collections we will have as of the 1st Sept 2010.

You may notice some of our favourite in-colours present and past are here to stay, and there are new colours we haven't ever seen before. Kraft even has a new name 'Crumb Cake'.
Maybe you've spotted the 3 new colours from the Autumn Winter Mini and jumped up to do a little dance like me! :-)

Below is the list of colours we will say a Fond farewell to... (There is still plenty of time though to stock up on ink re-fills, card, ribbons etc if an old time favourite of yours is in this collection.)

Stampin' Up! is thrilled to be introducing their new 'Up to Date' line of colours, I'm excited and hope you all are too!

I'm still here!

Just a quick note to let you know I am still here and hoping things will be settled in the next week or so, so I can be back on track posting lots of projects to share and keep the Inspiration flowing!
I have had a few workshops on over the past couple of weeks, even heading off to one tomorrow night (Hi Helen, Sarah, and Kelly), I'm finding the balance is slowly falling into place between working full time, being a mum, and having my time for Stampin' and workshops etc. (Lets not mention the extra shopping I've "had" to fit in for new work clothes etc, with no complaints from me of course. lol)
Stay tuned... I might even find time over the long weekends we have coming up for a big pile of posts to share!
Happy Stampin' xo

Magical Birthday Wishes!

At our Paper Angels Meetings once a month, we have a challenge that Liz sets and there is the opportunity to win great prizes.

Last month the challenge was to create using any products from the New Autumn Winter Mini.

This was one of my entries, that scored me 2nd Prize!

Stamps: Pony Party
Ink: StayzOn Black, Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Almost Amethyst
Card: Barely Banana, Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, Almost Amethyst, Water Colour Paper
Accessories: Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds
Tools: Circle Scissors Plus, Eyelet Border Punch, Crimper, Aqua Painter, Adhesives including 2Way Glue Pen for Glitter and Dimensionals.
(Card inspired from Split Coast Stampers)

The pony was coloured in using ink from the lids of my Stampin' Pads and an Aqua Painter. This works best on Water Colour Paper like I've used.

The groovy edge around the large circle was created by punching a border along the long side of A4 card with the Eyelet Border Punch, then crimping this so it curves easy as you stick it around the outer edge of the back of the circle. I love the effect it gives.

Medallion Kisses

I know I say this over & over, but I sooooo LOVE being a Paper Angel! Specially those times when we all get together at Liz's house and play with new products!

Here's a card I made on one of those "Play Days" at Liz's
featuring the new Medallion Stamp
from Page 17 of the Autumn Winter Mini.
The chocolate Baroque Swirls you can see are created by
'Kissing' Baroque Motifs and the Medallion together before Stamping.
Ink Medallion in lighter colour, then ink Baroque Swirl in darker colour and 'kiss' both stamps together so the Baroque Swirl leaves an imprint on the Medallion. Then stamp the Medallion onto your card stock. "WOW"
Stamps: Medallion, Baroque Motifs, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Brocade Blue, Chocolate Chip
Card: Brocade Blue, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Half Pearl
Tools: Stamp-a-Majig (for verse in corner of card), Adhesives.
(Card inspired from Split Coast Stampers)

Above is Kathy's funky version of this card in the NEW colours
Melon Mambo & Rich Razzleberry
from our Autumn Winter Mini!

Crafting with my Sister!

Check out these cool projects my sister made while she was staying here, with full access to anything she wanted to use in my craft room... she's pretty clever I say!

This card features our new Two-Step Bird Punch in our Autumn/Winter Mini
(Jackie got to use it before me, gee she's lucky I love her so much xo)

Card: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Ski Slope DS (retired)
Accessories: Button, Linen Thread
Tools: Two-Step Bird Punch, Adhesives including Dimensionals.

Jackie also made this lovely gift for a friend's little girl's 2nd Birthday, so she can add a photo and hang it straight on the wall. Using the layout I have been using LOTS of times and personalising it with Sophia's name. How did she do the name???? Oh with the BIG SHOT!!!!!!! Pretty cool hey? I can see me using this heaps for personal gifts and scrapbooking titles etc. The number 2 on the card is made with the BIG SHOT too!

Card: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Candy Lane DS Papers
Accessories: Chocolate Chip 1" Double Stitch Grosgrain Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds, 12x12 Wooden Frame
Tools: Paper Trimmer, Big Shot, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits Dies, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Adhesives including Dimensionals

Jackie added Dazzling Diamonds all over the letters 'Sophia' and the number '2' to give it a little girl feeling, it made it all sparkly and cute, the glitter doesn't show up much in the photos.

I'm sure it will look great in Sophia's room. I think I might order one from Jackie for Elana's room next!!!! ;-)
